SAV Vilaró has expanded its services to offer fibre optic laser cutting technology. This state-of-the-art technology achieves an energy efficiency of approximately 50% less than previously existing technologies.
Fibre optic laser cutting, which is complementary to CO2 laser and punch press cutting, is characterised by its versatility.
It enables cutting of ferric, stainless and aluminium materials, in particular copper, brass and titanium, from thicknesses of 0.5 mm to 20 mm.
This now allows laser tube cutting of lengths of up to 400 mm in diameter in ferrous and stainless metals, as well as in aluminium, copper, brass and titanium.
Fibre optic laser cutting, energy efficiency saving of approximately 50%.
